WRITERS! We have an opportunity for you.
We at Budgie Smuggler Games are in the midst of building a fantastic universe for the venerable Renegade Legion Universe IP and we're in need of several "slice of life" short stories for a digital anthology. That's where YOU come in!
NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE WITH THE UNIVERSE IS NECESSARY. We'll help you with that if your pitch idea is accepted.
We're accepting pitches from writers of ANY skill level, provided you have published something (blog, article, research paper, etc) that you can use as a writing example. (Fanfiction is okay!)
This is really important: we highly desire writers who are from underrepresented communities, or who have respected writing chops in those spaces.
We'll also be using this as a testing rod for broader writing needs for several products slated for the future. So even if your pitch isn't selected, we may invite you to try for further projects if we like what we see!
